This has got to be one of the most expensive admin accidents that didn’t happen- unless you’re working at The Office’s Dunder-Mifflin. It is one thing that everyone didn’t notice the time clock mistake, it’s another for the compensation team to hand out a $23,000+ check to an employee without noticing it. Either this is a complete lie or somebody got really lucky!

But for the sake of it, let’s say we buy this story. What would you do if you were given a big fat check from your company by mistake? Would you be a good employee and give it back? Or will you YOLO and get out of the city for a fresh start? Don’t tell anyone but I might also do the latter. Bye!
