Parenting 101 For You
Sounds like your kid has his life figured out more than I do. I’m already in my late 20s, a picky eater my entire adult life, and an insomniac. I have never picked the 1984 book. My self-regulation is at 10% and is honestly close to flat-lining. Don’t even get me started with cooking. Wow that was a bit of a let-down, wasn’t it?
I mean every parent wishes they can boast all these things about their child. But let’s face it, having a perfect relationship with your kid is impossible. The irony here is regardless of the dysfunction and imperfections, what’s important is the family is true. There’s no need to lie about your mishaps. Look at me, I still turned out fine, right? Right?
