I was tempted to give this a pass because the turtle is too cute. But, really, the animal’s behavior is totally normal. There are even ways you can teach your turtle to do such things. For all we know, the adorable pet may just be following her for food. I don’t think that calls for a biologist’s attention.

Sorry turtley, I really like you but people can’t go believing that this turtle’s too special. Any biologist would tell you that this behavior may not even be affection but a learned behavior when asking for a meal.
