Retail Workers Share the Small Ways They Get Back at Rude Customers

This person confessed her way of getting back at rude customers when she worked at a college bookstore. Yes, some people can be awful in a place as wonderful as a bookstore! Whenever someone would come in and give her a hard time, she would intentionally give them the used book copies in the worst condition. 

If you’ve ever purchased used textbooks for college, you know that some of those “gently used” books are in rough condition, and you still have to pay an arm and a leg for them. We love this person’s level of pettiness because it’s a subtle way of making a rude person’s day a little worse. Who wouldn’t hate paying hundreds of dollars for a water-damaged book with no cover?
