#10: Power Move
Sometimes, customers don’t even have to say anything to demonstrate how rude they genuinely are. Instead, their actions reveal their true nature, and service workers notice immediately. For example, one non-verbal way customers can act rude is by throwing money on the counter instead of handing it to the cashier.
This is especially rude if the cashier is already holding out their hand to take the money or credit card. What makes these customers think they’re better than the person checking them out? Someone mentioned that they get back at customers like this by throwing their change right on the counter instead of handing it back to them. Tit for tat is a legitimate strategy for survival in retail.
