#31: Being Nice Gets You a Long Way
How hard is it to just be nice to the people around us? I get it, we all get mad or frustrated from time to time, and sometimes we take it out on the person standing in front of us, whether it’s the cashier at the store, our coworker, or our mom, even if they had absolutely nothing to do with it.
However, that’s often not the case with rude customers. Often, their behavior is consistent and compulsive, simply because they’re nasty people. They’re not nice people who are having a nice day. It’s their loss, though, because being a nice person goes a long way; after all, people treat you with the same energy you treat them.
