#11: A Soggy Pie
“The customer is always right” is a familiar refrain service workers have heard throughout the years. But, if you’ve never worked in retail or food service, we have a secret to reveal. The customer is NOT always right. In fact, they’re usually wrong. Take this Little Ceasar’s customer, for example. She ordered a deep-dish pizza, which requires it to go through the oven twice.
The Little Ceasar’s employee was about to put the deep dish through the oven a second time when this customer insisted that she was tired of waiting and wanted her pizza immediately. The employee tried to explain that it wasn’t ready, but she was having none of it. So the employee gladly gave this rude woman her raw pizza and sent her on her merry way. We hope she learned a lesson while eating her soggy, undercooked pizza.
