We could not thank Mother Nature enough for the natural music that she has given to us in the form of the whispers of the wind, rustling of leaves, the rhythmic stream of rivers, and the relaxing lullabies of the birds. Birds are considered to be one of the most graceful animals on the planet in terms of movement. The way they flap their wings as they glide across the sky is more than enough to leave those who watched stunned and amazed. Bird photography is a genre of photography that documents various forms and kinds of birds. This type of photography requires precision and timing. One of the biggest names in the world of bird photography is the professional photographer based in Sydney, Leila Jeffreys, who started her journey over a decade ago. Talk about commitment and dedication. Don’t just take our word for it. Here are some of her best shots of our avian friends in their picture-perfect poses!

Greater Sooty Owl
Owls often are symbols of great wisdom and knowledge. In other cultures, they may also symbolize shapeshifting, and even death. Still, these symbolizations are still subject to change because of various interpretations, both ancient and modern. They have over 200 species of mostly solitary and nocturnal birds of prey typified by an upright stance, a large, broad head, and binocular vision.

The first bird on our list is a Greater Sooty Owl, an elusive, medium large, sooty-black owl with no ear-tufts. They are also known as Black Owls or Dusky Barn Owls. In this photograph by Leila Jeffreys, you will immediately know that this bird is definitely photogenic. This adorable creature knows in itself that it is adorable. Just look at that pose and face.
