Gouldian Finch
True finches are small to medium-sized. They belong to the Fringillidae family of passerine birds. Finches have sturdy conical bills that are specialized for eating seeds and nuts, and their plumage is often brightly colored. They can be found in a wide variety of settings and do not move. The finches have an almost worldwide distribution, excluding Australia and polar regions.
