Cobalt Budgie
The Budgerigar, often known as parakeets in American English, is one of the lesser-known talking birds. They are a small, long-tailed, seed-eating parrot that is sometimes referred to as a “budgie.” Some budgies have been known to develop a vocabulary of hundreds of words, which may astonish some. This budgie below is what they call the cobalt budgie.
This budgerigar has the color of medium shade of blue with one dark factor. Cobalt describes this color well. It is darker than sky blue and has lost the iridescence. Their cheek patches are bright violet and the tail is a dark blue. The Blue mutation provides a widely accepted division of domesticated budgerigars into two color classes: the “Green series” and the “Blue series”.
