Fruit Dove
A dove is a tiny seed- or fruit-eating bird with a cooing voice and a stocky body. Although doves are smaller and more delicate than pigeons, numerous different species have been given both names. Doves are commonly used as a symbol of marriage. In some cultures, it is customary for the newlyweds to release two caged doves after the wedding.
The next subject of Leila’s photography skills is the fruit dove, also known as fruit pigeons. They are a genus of birds in the pigeon and dove family. These colorful, frugivorous doves are found in forests and woodlands in Southeast Asia and Oceania. These small- to medium-sized doves generally have short, fan-shaped tails, and are remarkable for their colorful and often glossy plumage.
