Questionable Circumstances
Here’s a bank heist story that raises far more questions than answers. In this case, the criminals benefited from the fact that Baghdad was in complete military chaos at the time that they decided to raid a local bank. It’s no surprise that they succeed in their operation since chaos is the perfect component for a successful heist.

However, as news articles from the time state, no one can seem to agree on who was involved. Some claim that bank guards were to blame for being complicit in the crime, while others point to militia groups. What’s even more surprising is that the bank was full of American dollars instead of Iraqi dinars, which does not make any sense to me at all.
