Even though they are reprehensible characters, it is true that a group of robbers must act as a cooperative team if they want to succeed. However, as this story points out, disagreements between team members can quickly bring an operation down, even if it was initially successful.
Jimmy Burke was the main gangster behind this plot, and it was not the only high-profile crime that he was involved with in his life. In fact, Burke was so prolific that he eventually served as inspiration for a character of a similar name that Robert Di Nero played in the film Goodfellas.
