Robbed Blind
You would expect that good vision is a prerequisite for pulling off a bank heist, but this story of the robber known as “Blind Bob” proves that notion wrong. Robert Toye was not just seeing impaired. He was legally blind when he committed his 17 bank robberies. It just shows that there are no limits if you’re brave enough!

Before becoming a bank robber, Toye had already served a prison sentence for fraud. His stint in prison was also where he got the idea of becoming a bank robber when he got out, having learned that tellers were under orders to give money to those who threatened violence. His hunch was correct, as he left banks with thousands of dollars after telling workers that he had a gun, although he was always unarmed.
