If you were a mafia member and the son of a lawyer, the odds are that you don’t have much need to rob a bank since you probably have more than enough money to live comfortably for your whole life. However, that was not the mindset that Valerio Viccei carried despite being in that exact situation.
The Knightsbridge Vault Robbery that Viccei orchestrated in London was not only unnecessary in my mind, but it also ended up being among the largest bank robberies in history. However, I take some pleasure in knowing that, unlike other high-profile bank robbers, Viccei was eventually captured and sentenced to a prison sentence.
