Guaranteed Safety
As is true of many bank robbers, the so-called Geezer Bandit of San Diego County managed to pull off multiple crimes without getting caught. However, the most surprising fact to me is that even if authorities found the Geezer Bandit today, they would not have any legal right to charge them.

Evidently, the statute of limitations in California for such crimes is just six years. Since this bandit’s last crime took place in 2011, they could openly brag about their work and face no punishment whatsoever. Don’t you think it might be time to consider extending that statute of limitations to make it more possible to charge guilty thieves?
