#25: Say Cheese!
The debate of nurture vs. nature is endless; what behaviors are we born with, and what behaviors do we pick up from our environment? Are we all born good in nature and become corrupted by our environment, or the other way around? We can’t answer that question (although we’re pretty sure it’s the first option), but here’s something we do know:
Smiling isn’t a learned skill, but it’s innate to us. It’s in our nature to smile – which is why even blind people – who don’t know what a smile looks like – are able to smile. That’s uplifting, right? We’re not sure if it suggests anything bigger, but it’s nice to know that smiling is rooted deep within us!
