The Glow-in-the-Dark Pickle
There are two extremely reliable ways to see your favorite foods and snacks in a completely unappetizing light. One is microscopy, and the other is ultraviolet light. We just left microscopy with the strawberry, so let’s have a look at what it’d look like if you decided to view a pickle under UV light.
We don’t know what to describe this as, but we surely don’t want to take a bite out of that. The outside is a very pastel cyan and the inside is shockingly hot pink – not quite what we’d expect to see from a pickle. The outside color makes sense, seeing as pickles are a shade of green, but how the heck does the inside turns to that shade of pink?
