Above and Beyond
Most places would love a new team member who isn’t just good at their job but is also willing to help out others when it’s needed. Well, not this place. When this Redditor got a job running banquets at a prestigious hotel, they were fantastic right off the bat and had their room set up three hours before the event.

Now that their work was done and the room was ready to go, they went to help in the kitchen since they seemed a little backed up. However, their supervisor did not think that was appropriate, snapping at their new employee and telling them to get out of the way until the event started. They were actually scolded for trying to be helpful and putting in extra work!
