It could just be me, but it does seem like the terror watch list is the kind of thing that people just forget to update or else can’t be bothered going through the bureaucracy required in order to do so. It’s kind of like your shopping list, except that you don’t end up buying terror groups over and over again if you forget to take them off.

Even so, it is a little bit pathetic that one of the greatest and most famous freedom fighters remained a terrorist in the eyes of the US until quite so recently. I wonder what other benign groups are accidentally on that list: Paw Patrol, the cast of Friends, The Village People?
