I guess we really need to start internalizing that vast periods of time can pass between two events that are both very far away from our own time. If it’s not Cleopatra and the Pyramids, it’s the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Stegosaurus. Most of us usually just think dinosaurs are dinosaurs…
These two actually lived about 80 million years apart! That’s a number that’s pretty much impossible to conceive and way longer than the entirety of human history. Does that mean that there were T-Rex archeologists digging up Stegosaurus bones in the late Cretaceous period and trying to figure out what they belonged to?
