Many of us spend our time reading books or watching movies about made-up places with weird and wonderful stories, but sometimes facts are far more interesting than fiction. There are many things that we don’t know about our own world that turn out to be pretty mind-blowing when we discover them. That’s why we thought it was time to share with you some of our favorite tidbits of information that you may not know. #1: Mammoths and the Pyramids
We tend to think of human history as being isolated from all those things that came before – including the earliest “humans.” First, there were dinosaurs; then there were giant mammals – sabertooth cats, woolly mammoths, and the like. And, of course, with these prehistoric creatures were the earliest people – cavemen.

What we don’t tend to think of along with all these early animals is human civilization as we know it – buildings and agriculture and society and culture. So it’s funny to think that such astounding creatures roamed the Earth at the same time as humans were already doing pretty cool things. Ah, what a time to [have been] alive!
