Nobody knew that animated characters could be laid off the show too. Maggie Roswell played the voice of Maude Flanders, the first wife of Ned Flanders, in the globally popular animated show The Simpson. And she was fired from her animated role in 2000 because she asked for too much travel fare.
The actresses always demanded huge amounts of money to travel from her home to the recording studio of the famous show. The production went along for some time with her unreasonable demands but had to remove her from the show eventually.
