Not the Right Move
We guess most of us are okay with our favorite TV shows updating every now and then by introducing new characters into the scene. For TV show producers it is a bold move because of the pressure from the audience. However, Jon Polito disagreed with the idea of adding diverse characters to the show.
Being a famous character on Homicide: Life on the Street, Polito was told to be replaced with a couple of females for some time, to shake up things a little bit. But he didn’t like the idea one bit and ruined the character for himself, which he was promised to be given back, by talking about it on media.
