#29: Regrets
There is no denying that when it came to our grandparent’s generation when someone got married, they were making a lifelong commitment. Even if there were issues and people didn’t want to stay together, things were different in their generation. The idea of getting divorced was so foreign to some that they would jump on the opportunity…
But once this person’s grandfather took the opportunity to divorce his first wife and the mother of his children, he immediately regretted it. Perhaps the values of his generation were influencing him once again… We can’t imagine how uncomfortable this would have been for everyone at the dinner table, especially his current wife.
