People Share Their Weirdest, Most Awkward Thanksgiving Dinner Moments

Conspiracy theories are all fun and games– until they’re not. According to Insider, almost 80% of Americans believe in at least one unscientifically proven idea. A small portion of that percentage thinks the Earth is flat. This OP’s uncle is one of those people. Their uncle got into a fight with their cousin’s husband about this conspiracy theory while everyone else was enjoying their turkey and stuffing. 

We can’t help but wonder if the uncle was just trolling the cousin’s husband. We wish he were. Maybe he liked getting a rise out of him and pretended to be a Flat Earther. Just to be clear: the Earth is not flat. It is a sphere, and it revolves around the sun. Thank you for coming to our TED Talk.
