#35: Lock and Load
So, the first of these is not actually applicable across the board. Some seats definitely work this way, but others do not; it’s going to vary from airline to airline and plane manufacturer to plane manufacturer. When it works, that’s pretty awesome, but you shouldn’t depend on it.
However, this second piece of information is a pretty interesting one! I’ve always wondered what would happen if someone was in the bathroom and either they didn’t want to come out or there was some kind of medical emergency and they couldn’t come out. Apparently, now we know the answer! The flight attendants can get in if they need to. So don’t think that you can lock yourself in an airplane bathroom long-term.
