I’ll admit that I’ve occasionally taken my shoes off on a plane; I usually don’t walk around like that, but when you’re sitting in your seat for eleven hours, sometimes you just want to take your shoes off for a while and let your feet relax.

But after reading this, I don’t think I’ll ever do that again, not even at my seat! Of course, planes are cleaned between each flight, but I’m not sure if they go as far as scrubbing the floors. And then of course you don’t know what hideous offenses your fellow passengers are committing while you sit there.
