#5: Walking on Tip Toads
We know that some people keep strange animals as pets; we’ve heard of people who keep raccoons and lizards as pets, and some people even keep spiders and snakes as pets. But toads? That’s a first. Have you ever seen anyone with a lap toad before? If the answer is no, feast your eyes on the image below.
This is a cane toad (also known as the marine toad) native to South and Central America. As you can tell, the cane toad is very large, with an average size of 6 inches (10-15 cm). While they are highly dangerous to many animal species (including dogs), some consider them good pets (for people interested in amphibians) because they are rather docile and easy to tame.
