#13: Size Doesn’t Matter
We already said dogs aren’t aware of their size—especially large dogs, who often behave like tiny puppies. You can tell this dog has no idea how big and heavy he is, sitting on this woman and smiling from ear to ear. People are often intimidated by large dogs and prefer to raise smaller dog breeds, so large dogs often get abandoned after they reach their full size.
It’s heartbreaking, but it’s comforting to know there are good people out there who know size doesn’t matter. On the contrary, big dogs often have big hearts and are grateful for their owners’ love. As you might’ve guessed, this good boy is a wolfdog—a domesticated hybrid of a gray wolf and a Siberian husky.
