#8: A Chrome Feature
If you use Google Chrome as your browser, this secret feature might become your new best friend. Whenever you need to create a new document in Google Docs, all you need to do is type “doc.new” into the Chrome browser bar. Press “enter,” and a brand-new, blank document will open up.
Pretty cool, right? This feature is such a time-saver. When you use this shortcut, you no longer have to open up Google Drive, right-click, and create a new document. That just takes way too long! You can also type in “sheet.new” and “slide.new” to create new Google Sheets and Google Slides.
