If you have a microwave in your kitchen, chances are that you’re under-utilizing it. Most of us simply throw leftovers in and press whatever buttons we’re used to pressing, which is usually the same two buttons. However, most microwaves have a ton of different reheat features. This person highly recommends the “low power” and “defrost” features because they feel that not enough people know about them.
“Low power” and “defrost” are the least and best-used features of a microwave. You can easily use the “defrost” setting to quickly and safely defrost frozen food. This feature is perfect when you forget to take something down from the freezer and it’s not ready to cook by the time you get home to cook dinner.
