#59: It Should Be the Expectation…
For some reason, when it comes to having children, women are always the ones who are assumed to take on all of the parenting tasks. Sure, men will do some of the first work, but more often than not, the assumption is that they won’t have to deal with all of the dirty work or do anything they don’t want to.
Why is it that men are let off so much easier than women in society? As far as we’re concerned, if there are two people in a partnership raising a baby, then they should both be putting in the work. But whenever men do anything with their children, they are automatically praised in a way that women aren’t.
