#43: Microwaves Don’t Cook from the Inside Out
If you stop and think for a moment, this one makes perfect sense. How often have you gotten something out of the microwave just for the middle to be cold and the outer edge hot? That’s why it’s super important to make sure you cook frozen foods to a certain temperature.
I must admit that I believed microwaves cooked things from the middle for a long time. I also didn’t know, until now, that the outer portions cooked the inner portions. That’s pretty neat! I guess we really do learn something new every day. I wonder what remarkable fact I will learn tomorrow?
