#31: Shaving Doesn’t Make Your Hair Thicker
If you’ve ever been warned not to shave because it will make the hair grow back thicker, you can safely tell that person that they’re wrong. They might try to argue with you, but the truth is that it’s more of an illusion than anything else. The new ends of short hairs will feel and look thicker than the fine hairs that were there originally.

The bottom line is that the truth doesn’t matter in this case. How it feels and looks changes, so people continue to shave after that first time to get rid of the spiky hairs on their legs or lips. Some men shave in hopes of getting a fuller beard. They know the truth within the first month or two. It doesn’t work!
