#23: Sugar Rush
This one is hard to believe. I’ve seen the evidence in my kids after they’ve had a candy bar. They go wild! Science says this isn’t true, however. I’d like to know how they’re measuring this phenomenon in a way that dispels it as false.
It could be that the small trace amounts of caffeine within chocolate are the true culprit of my kids going bonkers, but I see the same thing after popsicles, too! Maybe they should do a parent survey instead. We tend to know our kids a bit better than the scientific community from day to day.
