#39: The Flight of the Bumblebee Isn’t a Mystery
For dozens of years, I’ve heard that bees shouldn’t be able to fly. Imagine my surprise when I went to fact-check this and found that this has been very well researched, and there are entire explanations available for anyone who would like to understand the phenomenon. A serious side note: Our bee population is rapidly dwindling. If you want to help, try planting a pollinator garden or making a bee bowl, which is a bird bath with pebbles, so that thirsty bees can access water without drowning. Every little step we take to help them thrive is a step in the right direction.
