#41: A Lot More Behind That Red Exterior
Fire hydrants serve as a public water outlet. They are closed off most of the time, so to some, they simply look like bright red street ornaments. On the unfortunate occasion that you get to witness a building on fire, fire trucks access water through these, so they don’t need to pull up with finite supplies.
If you want to see how the rest looks, your wish is our command. It’s relatively plain, considering that the rest is just black pipe (we’d have liked it to be red like the rest of it, but they weren’t on the same vibe). However, seeing something so familiar in such an unusual light looks odd.
