#38: Learning Your Colors
We learn about primary colors when we’re young. We also learn about how all these colors come together to make all the other colors. That simple rule applies to every single display that you’ve ever seen, including the one that you’re reading right now. Can you guess what you’re looking at now?
LCDs make use of red, blue, and green (not a primary color, we know) to make up all the colors that we see on our displays. Yep! If you see orange, white, pink, and any other color that you can think of, they are produced simply from a combination of these colors in different pixels. Mind-boggling!
