No Lasting Effect
Here’s another story that supports the idea that nanny-based reality shows provide lackluster results, at best. In this situation, our storyteller had the chance to watch from a neighboring house while a reality TV nanny attempted to help a family with misbehaving kids.
Once again, this nanny’s efforts were ineffective or effective for a very short time at most. Evidently, these brief interventions do not bring about lasting behavioral changes in kids. The children in this story quickly returned to their bad actions at home and at school. To any parents reading, consider this a hint that reality show nannies have a better talent for acting than actually helping kids adopt healthy behavioral habits.
