What we have here is an explosion of pettiness. First, there’s the person who called enforcement because this antique shop had windchimes. Now, I suppose we don’t know the whole story, and maybe this shop had forty wind chimes outside, and the effect was like listening to an explosion in a xylophone factory. But for the most part, wind chimes are charming and harmless, and calling enforcement about them is kind of rude.

Then there’s this sign. Instead of meekly taking down the chimes or ignoring enforcement, this person chose to make a petulant sign with cartoonish clip art. I love the effort they put into striking back at their chime-hating neighbor.
