There’s no arguing that traveling to other countries makes people more empathetic and more interesting. It gives you life experiences that you absolutely can’t get at home. When you see the history of another group of people and how they live firsthand, it’s tough not to feel a connection with them.
This person’s great-grandparents traveled extensively, making their way to every single continent! They must have been full of unbelievable stories. It takes an adventurous soul to head to a place they aren’t familiar with, so this couple clearly has a lot of spirit. They even took this contributor’s mother with them on some of their journeys!
