#41: Curb Your Entusiasm
Just when we thought that you got the peak of Larry David’s humor based on observation, neuroses, and trivial, everyday inconveniences and misunderstandings in Seinfeld, outcomes to Curb Your Enthusiasm, the show focused on a fictionalized version of Larry, dialing the cringe, cynicism, and awkwardness to a new level. But that’s what we love about it.
The show is semi-based on Larry David’s life and relationship, including his friend Richard Lewis (played by himself). As it turns out, the two were childhood summer camp friends. After nearly fifteen years of being out of contact, the pair reconnected at the New York City comedy club circuit.
