Stand-up comedy, let’s go! I have definitely gotten in trouble at work before for some of my jokes, but it has been on a rare occasion. Unfortunately, the best humor seems to always offend someone. What is a joke to one person is real to another.

And humor is laughing at some form of suffering or another, so that contributes. What they say is right; humor really is subjective and not universal at all. It is a shame, considering comedy is a shield many of us use to protect ourselves from the worst of life.
