48. The Social Paradox
This feels like something of an extension of the work-from-home or work-from-office paradox. While a lot of us have developed a hatred for social situations, the truth is, even if we don’t think so, some of it is actually really healthy for us. Otherwise, you get hit with the loneliness bug and that is a funk we’ve all been in before.
It’s a bit of a paradox, as people tend to burn us out, too, when we spend too much time around them. No one likes to be “on” all the time, which is something you often need to do when in a public setting.
