#5: Can I Do This?
Every relationship is different, but it’s usually a big red flag when someone’s whole family is against an engagement. It’s an even bigger red flag when the bride is having her own doubts, too. This person’s sister was in this situation when she married her first husband. She even asked her dad for encouragement as she was walking down the aisle!

It seems a little late to be asking questions minutes before taking vows. We all know she should have followed her gut and canceled the wedding. There are lots of reasons people go through with weddings even though they have doubts. Whether it’s money, embarrassment, or fear of making the “wrong” decision, there’s never a good reason to go through with a wedding if you don’t really want to. It’s the first day of the rest of your life, after all.
