#32: Freaky Finances
If we’ve learned one thing so far, it’s that each generation has vastly different views on money and financial liabilities. Mortgages are the biggest obstacle hindering millennials, which I think is a huge surprise. I thought this generation couldn’t afford to own a house at all, even with a loan from the bank!

Apparently, around 42.8 million people have some form of federal student loan debt. And it’s not an easy debt to pay off – the average amount in federal debt is about $37,787. If you look only at private loans, then this average increases to $40,780. I feel very sorry for them!
