Now that the dating pool has gotten even bigger and marriage has become easier, many people don’t think it’s so essential. One of the biggest reasons is gender inequality.
Previously, marriage was the only thing that women could aspire to, as it was their only way of getting an income and living independently from their parents. But now, with so many career opportunities, women don’t have to settle. They can choose their own life path without needing a man, which is great!
