Janice Dickinson
Janice Doreen Dickinson grew up in Hollywood in a modest family. In order to pursue her dream of being a supermodel, she relocated to New York. Because of her ethnic appearance, Dickinson was initially looked down on by everyone in America. However, it did not stop her from gaining recognition for herself in France.

The French loved and appreciated her Exotic look. In 1978 she returned to the states and worked nonstop for the next five years. She was making $2,000 per day or four times the average rate. After signing with Ford Models, Dickinson earned a major commercial campaign for a new JVC camera.
