Naomi began attending a prominent dancing school at the age of three . Campbell got accepted into the Italia Conti Academy of Theater Arts at the age of ten, where she opted to pursue ballet. Campbell, like her mother, knew she wanted to be a dancer from a young age. Life, on the other hand, had another different plan for her.

Naomi shot her first large project for British Elle in New Orleans when she was only 15 years old. She was quickly contacted by agencies from as far as the United States, who were impressed by her “beautiful smile” and unrestrained displays of emotion from the Elle shoot. Her career took off and she was called to Paris a year later to photograph for French Elle.
